Mom’s Day Off: Making the Most of Your 24 Hours

With the average working American being granted a mere 2 weeks of holiday time each year (that’s half the amount of almost every other nation in the world!), getting a day off is often a true rarity.

Because of this, most of us like to spend our precious days off lounging around and taking advantage of extra time to ourselves when the kids are at school. But, before we know it, the end of the day is approaching and we’ve done absolutely nothing, sometimes leaving us wondering whether having a day off was even worth it! Making the most of the entire 24 hours you have off work is essential to ensure you get the most out of your free time, and really enjoy being off work. Go somewhere new

 Provided you have childcare for the entire day, hopping in your car and driving to a totally new place out of town is a great way to spend a day off.
